OK I hope someone chimes in with more miles than what I'm seeing. 169,000 is quit a bit but I gotta say my friend has a 95 Honda Civic with 220,000 and all I hear is "you'll never see an american car get this many miles especially a hot rod" She says no major work has been done, but that of course doesn't mean the stuff isn't bad I'm sure the car has some hidden problems . I'm just sick of hearing people bash american cars saying how the qaulity is so much worse. Its true some cars are real bad here in america, but I'm sure there are some bad foriegn ones to. This reliability myth along with the I can get better gas mileage with just as much performance with a foriegn car really erks me.

Do any of you high mileage guys notice that the car's quarter mile performance has gotten worse? Or is it still the same?

not a LT1 but is a 1993 Chevy 350 wich is pretty much the same inside and I got 206,000 and still runs great, but my work van doesn't get the abuse that my TA gets either. 104,000 on the TA.
