I also used innovative wiring, but I think I only paid $50 something though. Regardless the quality is exceptionally.

The prices must have gone up. It was 60 + s&h. I went to Autozone and the parts to do it myself would have been around 45$. So i'm paying extra to have it already done and also the great quality.
Re: High output alternator for LT-1
I talked to a guy at a auto electric shop and he said that going with either 1 or 0 gauge wiring is overkill and would cause some " electrical interference." He suggested to go with stock sized wiring or if you have a lot of electrical assessories, that 4 gauge would be more than sufficient. Can anyone chime in on this?

Re: High output alternator for LT-1
i've been researching this for a few days and from what i've gathered doing searches is that 4 is very good and 1/0 is the best. I havene't come across anyone saying 1/0 is overkill.

Re: High output alternator for LT-1
The guy didn't have anything in stock and would have to build it from scratch, he quoted me about $30-40 for stock sized replacement and about $80-90 for 1 or 0 gauge wiring. Seemed kinda pricey for the 1/0 gauge.

Old post but I ended up getting on a GP through Innovative and the set of cables is NICE! Also I went with a local guy to upgrade my alternator to 200amps and it was MUCH cheaper than buying the mean green alternator for $350.00. I also had them give me the alternator shells so that I could have it chrome plated. =D
Now I just need to find a chrome alternator fan so that it matches.
