Help with trouble code p1441 and possible related problems (Injuneer, maybe?)
Did a search, and couldnt quite find what I was looking for......
Lately, my car has been throwing trouble code p1441, but usually only first thing in the morning if I dont let it warm up at all....if i get it nice and warm before actually driving (like 5 minutes of warm-up) it doesnt seem to throw it. Also, after driving (so when warm) it has a stumble, but only at idle, and will be more difficult to start than normal.
I coulda sworn I read Injuneer saying that these problems are all related to the EVAP lines or canister or something...
Anyone (Injuneer, maybe ) know if this is the case? And if so, what is the fix?

P1441 = Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system flow during non-purge
The flow detector before the EEC solenoid is "seeing" air flow in the line when the EEC solenoid is supposed to be closed. Leaking EEC solenoid, stuck open, etc. or the flow detector is faulty.
See part #11 on Shoebox's EEC system diagram

k so part 11 on the diagram is the EEC solenoid
Besides tripping the SES light, would a leaky/stuck/faulty EEC solenoid cause the slight rough stumble at idle (when warm) and make the car sometimes difficult to start (also when warm)?
Thanks for the help

No.... part #11 is the flow detector that I was talking about. Part #7 is the EEC purge solenoid.
A leak from the EEC system into the intake manifold COULD cause the symptoms you described. The system is only supposed to work when the engine is under load.

With the engine idling, pull the hose #14 off the EEC solenoid, and check the nipple on the EEC solenoid for vacuum. There should be any at idle. If there is vacuum, block it off and see if the idle smooths out.
