So first startup with the copper gaskets. Both side leak pretty bad. Do these need to be heat cycled to tighten them?

Did you check the header flanges for being straight?

I just installed the gaskets that came with the headers and its leak free. They were Klinger Thermoseal gaskets.

FWIW I never had luck with "copper" header gaskets even with quality headers and new heads.

If the ones you put on that came with them hold up, great. If they burn out...My $02 is FelPro 1470

Yes, everyone suggest the felpros. If these blow out ill change to those. Long tubes are sooooo much easier to change stuff then shorties.
