I have never seen a 376ci LT1 but I've haven't been around these cars as long as a lot of people here have been so they might have.

Re: has anyone heard of this

If you combine a 3.75" stroke crank with the stock 4.00" bore, you will have a "377". Question is - why is this important? You can build an LT1 anywhere from 355ci to 396ci, or even 409, 421 or 427ci (with sleeves). The fact that it might have the same displacement as an LS3, which has not even the most remote relationship to an LT1 would seem to be insignificant.

I think the op was asking more out of curiosity then relating to an ls3. Im sure being he has never heard of an lt1 with that ci he might have been skeptical about the build.

aren't 377s de-stroked 400s?(high revers)
I remember having an old 400 block in my garage and a 350 crank oversized bearings and the whole nine I got off the recycler back in the day... lol I never got around to building it

You could use a 3.625" stroke crank, and bore it to 4.060 and end up with 376ci (LS3 is 376.05) but I haven't seen anyone do that setup with an LT1.
