any comments on the powerforce 80000. Does it still rub on the opti? I was thinking about going to napa and ordering it.

Which key exactly? Does the LT1 have 2 woodruff keys. I know one is notched. I cant remember if there is a second or not. What SBC would use the key that I need for the snout of the crank. what year and what car do I need to specify to the chevy part guy? The worst thing I could do is go to checkers and say i need a woodruff key for a small black chevy crank. Thell be like What year? Does it have Air conditioning? lol

His problem isn't the TC sprocket, so he doesn't need a key for that. The LT1 specific keys are all back cut to fit on the non keyed hub.

A standard SBC key up in the front crank slot will do just fine with a keyed hub, as shoebox just stated.

If you don't want to go to a standard parts store, just go to a performance shop.
