For Guys who Bypassed there knock sensor

Hi, could U explain how u bypassed the knock sensor, heres what i did took a 1/2 watt 4.7-ohm resistor, soldered it to the blue wire that runs from the pcm that goes to the knock sensor then I took the other end of the resistor and grounded it to the frame did i do this right?

I have had mine disabled (by reprogramming the PCM) for four years, No kaboom.

my KS is disabled (no Kabooom yet), thru the pcm tho so i am of no help to you
deleting the KS is not that big a deal with a street NA motor
forced induction, i definately see it but not soo much NA
