You guys don't even have to go through all that crap... just go to auto zone they can check out all that stuff for you for free if you don't have the tools.
If it aint broke don't fix it.
I could see where there might be a noticable difference if you have cartain items wired into the harness... but you should always run things that need a straight voltage right to the battery. did it with the pump, the ign box... and every body is happy... Voltage is where it should be. Things are allot easier to keep an eye on too.
