got another problem

As always everytime i get something fixed another problem always has to happen.anyways after i got my oil seal fixed i drove the car home when i was driving the car was staying cool the whole time there was no low coolant light on or anything.

after i park it i come back to look at it and there is water/coolant on the ground.
i looked underneath and the thermostat hose running to the radiator is off now that has to be the third time now that hose has fallen off, i tighten the clamp all the way. (but i didnt overtight it)

but i am wondering why does that particular hose keep fallen off. im thinking to change it with a new one and put two clamps on it would that help so that it wouldnt fall off.

also how do i know that if i fully bleed all the air out of the lines. any help would be appreciated thank u brothers

Shoebox has a suggsted air bleed procedure:

I assume you mean hose #10256244 in the diagram is popping off the t'stat housing. First time I've ever heard of that problem in the 16 years I've been involved with the LT1. Maybe rough up the surface of the t'stat housing connection a bit before putting the hose on.

thermosta hose

oh Injuneer im sorry my mistake the thermostat hose is coming off of the radiator end where it inserts into the radiator thats the part that keeps coming off, but 2morow im gonna just buy a new one anyways and double clamp it man.

i have ? this might sound dum but im learning, when the car is running how are my radiator/water hoses supposed to feel like? i heard they are supposed to feel like stiff/ firm. but my thermostat hose plumps up like a hot dog and its soft. is that an issue? thank u

If the hose is swelling up, it's time to replace it, or it will burst.

Sounds like you have a combination of not tightening the clamp enough and little too much pressure build up from a defective cap.

i did tighten the clamp all the way but i didnt want to over do it and cause a leak. and the hose plumps up and all my other hose are firm and feel right but my thermostat housing one feels to soft.
