I read that piece in GMHTP. I also "liked" (some real sarcasm there) what he said about receiving 1 letter per LTx enthusiast versus the 10 that he gets from LSxers. He stated that this is the reason that there are not more articles on LTx builds. Hmmmm - I bet that he would receive more letters from us LTx guys if there were more LTx related articles in his magazine. I don't buy GMHTP anymore specifically for this reason. GMHTP is missing out on significant portion of the "market" by doing this.

That's their loss .

I got all excited reading the best bolt-ons article for under $800 and saw they had a QTP exhaust cut-out and said it was less than $50 and the picture next to it was the electric version! Then I checked online and the electric one is $150, it was the manual version they were talking about.

Yeah I should of read the description a little better, but I was just scanning the article. At least put the picture of the right product next to the description. [/rant]

I think it would be cool if they covered the gathering in Indy in September.

I've had a subscription for more than five years and never had a problem. Were you dealing with a 3rd party with you subscription , or GMHPT direct?

Also, it would be nice if GMHTP would show-up to cover the LTX Shoot-Out at KCIR.

Isn't it apparent that the LT1 was dead before it was alive? It had a limited production run and was only used in a few vehicles. To say that GMHTP is LS biased is ridiculous. GM is LS biased. It's their world motor, and it's put in pretty much every car GM makes. Maybe not in the US, but in other countries, its even put in the Monte Carlo. The LS series is a better design hands down, and more people have them and want to hear about them. The magazine is there to profit from selling magazines, not to make a small niche market happy.

then explain why every issue has a turbo buick build up in it? that particular motor only showed up in 2 yrs worth of buicks(not the hot air cars) and in a limited 1 yr run in pontiacs.

How about they actually finish the product they started? They started building up the Formula that was an eyesore that they bought for I think 3-4k. And the past 3 or 4 issues they haven't said a word about it?

I dropped my subscription due to limited lt1 exposure. I feel that there's a lot of die-hard owners that GMHTP loses because of this. Maybe they should come out with an exclusive lt1 mag that comes out every three or four months or so.

Brekjeck, you can't make a bold comment like that without showing us some pics. Post 'em up bro.

WOW!!!! I never thought it would make people this MAD. And I too would like to see the end of the Formula build, they had some problems and it did not come up with the right HP numbers but they should not give up!!

All I can say is send you Pics and a note to them EVEN IF YOUR PISSED OFF!!!! At least then they will know we are out here and want MORE!!!

Seriously, all this LS biased crap has made me hate the LS engine. I will probably never want to own one now, just because of this. So what if it's a better stock build than a SBC or LT1. Yes, the LT1 has its problems, but what engine doesn't? Using that as an excuse to exclude an entire engine market is bullcrap.

Ever notice that even when there is an LT1 article in GMHTP, there is always a line something like "due to the crapiness of the LT1, we will be replacing this with this, ah hell let's just drop an LS1 in it". **** that. If my LT1 is really that horrible, why do I still own it? Oh hey, here's an idea. Let's email this entire thread to them and see what they think .
