Gave Up On Lt1
Re: Gave Up On Lt1
Hopefully now you have changed your mind and HAVE NOT given up on your LT-1.
I bet with a little patience, we could have walked you thru this repair instead of having to deal with the Chevy "stealership". Could have saved you some $$$. Just some food for thought if you experience problems again. Glad to hear that your car is back to the street again.

I'd half of those dealership techs know less than many of us on here. I don't let anyone touch my car except for me or someone I trust. I had an incident where they repaired my oil leak, and then sprayed down my engine afterward.
Never again. I have changed everything out on my own from then on out.

Re: Gave Up On Lt1
I would be happy to work on the car myself. But my work demand alot of time, I put in about 80 hours a week of work and I'm very stupid when it comes to cars and tools. I just picked up the car it runs so good, it even feels stronger. I'm very happy!
THanks for all the input!

I know how you feel. I work, alot. Sometimes the last thing I feel like doing is troubleshooting a car late at night when I get off or on my offtime which I dont get enough of. It's alot easier to just pay someone to take care of it sometimes if you can afford it.
