fuel shutoff

I was out joy riding in the Z today, and it has the walboro 255 fuel pump just recently installed. I wound up first gear and when it went to second i lost all fuel, the rpms went from 5000 to 1000 and when i pressed the pedel it felt like it the throttle cable had broke. I checked the throttle body and the butterfly still opens. My question is do i have a fuel reset or maybe a fuel relay that may have went out? thanks

Re: fuel shutoff

Bummer man, Autozone has a lifetime warranty Opti for like $30 plus the core. Check/change your plugs and wires while you're in there.

Re: fuel shutoff

i just had the plugs, wires, fuel pump, injectors, cam, headers, heads, all new ignition parts, fuel regulator and all the other bolt ons put on. It runs so good, but i guess it puked. I am just going to look at getting rid of this opti. Its only got 15 miles on this one. GM one at that.

Re: fuel shutoff

Should be under GM warranty then , no question. Give em hell!

Might just be a loose wiring harness though, check it over just to be sure.
