My camaro originally had a 3.4 litre ,It now has a lt1 with a lt4 hot cam, the heads were ported and polished , headers are now on it with a borla exhaust. The problem is that the engine dies very soon after it starts, but it will start back up if i give it gas while trying to start it. I was wandering if the stock fuel could be the problem? Any ideas would help as it is kinda embarrising.

 

Have you checked the fuel pressure?
