it isnt the regulator i checked that dry as a bone in the vaccuum line. it runs like a scalded cat once you get it started. it doesnt produce a strong fuel smell AT ALL when you try and start it unless you crank forever. i could still be the fuel pump but i'm going to shoot some carb cleaner in it tommorrow and see if it fires right away that'll tell me if its fuel pretty much. if that doesnt do it i'm going to blame the coil i had this one time before with the coil. gotta love a lifetime waranty on parts. so i guess i'll try the carb cleaner in it and see how it does. then i'll replace the coil. after that if it isnt fixed would you guys think it would be the oil pressure sending unit, i mean it is one of the circuits that the car runs off of.

Check the fuel pressure at crank, and at WOT with a fuel pressure gauge connected to your schrader valve at the back of the rail (94 - 97), and tape it to your windshield, and have at it.
I'm having the same kind of problem so i have a couple Questions-- Fuel Pump relay location and if you hook up gage to your fuel rail and turn your key on but don't start your engine what kind of fuel pressure should you get and it should not bleed down right. Also how can you tell if you got a leaky injector and how do you find it.
you should get around 35psi when you turn the key to the on position? and it should not bleed down, forget what running pressure is 42? not really sure on those numbers but its something like that. as for leaky injectors the only way i know to chase one down is take them somewhere and have them flow tested... which shouldnt be a rediculous price.
dr. zed i dont think i'm shooting in the dark here. car had a nice low rpm stumble today when i started her up to go to school. my last coil did this same thing, this one just hadnt got bad enough for me to realize that it was the same symptoms. weather really seems to affect it again just like with the last coil. so i'm gonna try that tonight when i get out of school. i'll keep you guys posted.

Hey guys on the racetronix fuel system, how much hp does it support and how much modding can it take before you would need an intake pump instead. Just curious b/c I am looking to rebuild my motor at 350cu. with forged parts and spraying it and am looking for a good fuel system setup right now.

There is no such thing as an 'intake' fuel pump. People mistake the term 'in-tank' for 'intake'. There are no fuel pumps which go inside your intake.
