fuel pump

fuel pump

Need a little help.car has set for a few days,get in to start,stumbles,wont start.After that it just turns over and over,wont start.Fuel pump clicks but I cant hear it prime.Car ran fine before.Any help is appreciated.

Check the fuel pressure.

If the pump is not starting for at least two seconds when you turn the key to "on", use a 12V source to connect to the fuel pump prime connector, and see if the pump runs. That takes the relay and the various "permits" (e.g. PCM) out of the circuit, and allows you to trace down the source of the problem.

Thanks for the help 0 fuel pressure and no change with the prime connector by pass
