fuel pump
No this isnt the usaul how can I change my fuel pump with out droping the rear thread..
I am putting together an engine 383 LT1 block all forged 4 bolt from Golen engines AFR 210 heads ported by Advanced inductions I not have a 52 mm TB LT4 intake ported 36 lbs injectors fuel pressure regulator ac delete elec water pump and a custom cam from Golen engines AI is doing my whole valvetrain with the heads too.
I am getting a spec stage 3 clutch and unfortunatly I cant just now afford a 9 inch but I do have a spare 10 bolt at the house until I can get a 9 inch.
Ok now you know what I have my Question is I might not get the 9 inch for a few months. I have a brand new fuelpump in the tank with less than 200 miles on it. will it be ok for my setup or should I put my 255lph pump in? It isnt to hard for me to drop my tank because I have had bad expierience with GM fuel pumps before and I cut my filler neck near the tank and have a rubber clamp that works perfect so I can disconnect it and drop the tank straight down with out taking the rear off all the way. So its not to hard but still not fun.I just dont want to change my fuel pump right at the moment and was wondering if it can supply the stroker or do I really need to replace it.
