Fuel pump

how hard is it to change a fuel pump? I'm going to replace it and the injectors in a month or so. Also where can I get new fuel rails?

Re: Fuel pump

The fuel injectors are easy, I just read the removal process in a Hayne's Manual and then had no problems. I've done them now a few times so I've gotten the time down now to about 20 mins. to remove and replace them.

Yeah, injectors are easy, had to do one on my brother's car, but how hard is the fuel pump? I understand it is in the gas tank and just wanted to know ow hard it is to get out of there.

Re: Fuel pump

Do a search, this has been discussed alot lately. Cut a hole in your car just above the gas tank. There is a install guide floating around somewhere. If you actually drop the tank you are in for a biotch of a time. It only took me a few hours to go through the top.
