fuel problems...code 55
i am getting the code 55 after my car gets warm......its starts to bogg down to low(400-500) rpms them if i turn it off and try to turn it back on, it will start, go down to about 100 rpms them die....!
i recently put accel 26# fuel injectors in, and have a .060 over bore.....
I DID NOT get a re-tune for the injectors. could this be the problem? any help is appreciated!!!Thanks!
edit: my oil pressure starts going down at stops when warm, but all is well when i first fire it up???

The car should be tuned for your mods. You didn't go much bigger than stock but its still different. If you changed injector size or did any of the other stuff without a retune I'm sure its related.
Code 55 is for the fuel being lean. I would start with fixing that.

Going to larger injectors, and not programming for them would not cause a "lean" code..... think about it. It would set a "rich" code.
Are you sure they are 26 #/HR injectors? They wouldn't happen to be out of an LS1, would they?
Check your fuel pressure at WOT/max engine load. The early LT1's set the "lean" code if the PCM does not see a rich fuel mixture in power enrichment (PE) mode.

could the PE mode also explain when i have it floored there is no movement in the car from about 4500 to 6000 rpms? is gets up and goes until then and it sort of rolls and revs untill it shifts

Couple of issues. One, the 93 engine was batch fired and had 22# injectors. In 94 they went to sequential and 24# injectors. Why would you jump to 26# for the minor mods you did? 24 is more than sufficient.
Second, I have never EVER heard anything good regarding Accel injectors. To confirm, simply search for it through out this forum.
My suggestion is check the wiring to the O2's. Consider swapping in 4 wire O2's. Then order stock injectors from a 94.
