i think im on the right track with my car. im not able to do anything on my car until spring though. but i think its somethin i need to take care of right away.

basically my car seems to run richer than it should first of all.

sometimes my car will miss like a cylinder isn't firing and will be really rich. black smoke out the exhaust. the car will buck some. run really rough.

next thing i notice is that my oil smells of a little fuel. not much but even some is a problem.

also when my car is cold sitting for a while starts no problem. if i have been using my car then turn it off and go to start it 15 or 20 mins later then sometimes it cranks for a couple seconds before starting.

so im thinking that an injector could be leaking when i turn off the car and im losing the pressure and thats why it starts harder after sitting for a bit and also some gas leaking down through the cylinder into oil from injector.

do you think all the problems above could be related to a leaky injector or something else?

i guess maybe only way to tell for sure is to put a fuel pressure checker on and see if pressure drops when i turn off car?

could there be anything else leaking besides an injector?
