Fuel odor uncovered!!!

HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!!!!!!!!

Finally an easy fix...

The fuel odor was comming from the rubber connector on the Fuel line at the Pump housing... for some reason it was squirting out a tad bit of fuel. Went to az and brought some clamps.... Glad I did the trap door method... couldn't have imagined... how much cash I'd a wasted replacing fuel parts...if I didn't cut that hole in my trunk....

Cool

Re: Fuel odor uncovered!!!

I would have thought a leak there would cause a stumbling problem or the very least, a hard starting problem.. Go figure.

You know... MSD makes a very good ignition kit....

Even when my car should start like crap it never does... even when it has a reason to... even with the burnt out opti... you can never tell....

ANyhow... the leak wasn't bad enough to notice... but I do think it might have had played a role in my bad Fuel pressure problems... after the pump swap...
