ha...my buddy has a 96 mystic cobra and he wishes he had never bought and wishes that he stuck with is 95 z28...haha but yea i think id take em because he isnt hte greatest driver and he's got bald tires...

 

I know what you mean. Any manufacturer can drop a supercharger into a car and make it faster. Ford was running out of options, so they just put a 'charger on. I think that's so lame. Yeah, 03 Cobras are quick, but it's not the same cause you didn't do anything to it. I'd rather have a quick car that I did the work to myself.

 

Is that all ford did was put a supercharger on it? Wouldnt they have gone into the motor a bit. Well wait since its the cobra motor it is already pretty stout. Blueprinted and balanced? Oh well its still fast,stock. Which makes it the faster cobra.stock. Which for stock is the better cobra.

it should be a good race, a stock cobra runs high 13's to low 14's. I got next to a 97ish cobra in my 79' z and i hung with him (20-50 roll). btw my 79 ran 14.42@99 with a 2.2 60'. Now when i get next to him in my 95' he won't even race me just keeps looking forward
