Found my opti problem. Cam pin way too short! help!

Whats up guys,

After installing 5 opti's, i found my problem. I thought my cam pin was too long at first, destroying my optical disc and sensor. Well, i was wrong. My stock pin length from the end of the cam was .615". I took a veneer caliper to the cam pin in their right now, after i took out the opti, and it was .340"!!!!

What do i do? Is there anythign i can do without taking the cam out? Im limited in time!

Help!

Pull out the old pin, put in a new one of the correct length. Should be able to do that with the cam in the engine.

Just curious... how did a "too short" pin damage the Opti? I'm suprised it even engaged the drive.

Sounds like you might have the wrong cam. What part number is the cam?
