I have '68 and would love to put a six speed in it. I recently found a T56 from a bad roll-over '95 Camaro at a super low price....but the input shaft is bent & coincidentally the front adapter plate was also damaged.

I have already called Rockland Gear and the shaft & plate will cost me more than I will actually pay for the transmission itself.

Does anyone out there have any T56 parts or know of any salvage yards that may have a "parts" T56?

I already have a rebuilt T5, but if I can swing the T56 I would rather go with it for obvious reasons....

F Parts Salvage may have a mangled T-56 among there over 200 4th gens. Their in Brisotol PA, so its not to far for you.
