Figured out what was causing my intermitent starting problems!
It wasn't the opti, it turned out to just be that my MSD digital 6 had gone bad after 25,000 miles. Well, at least it will drive now. time to buy a digital 7! thanks shoe box and everyone else for your diagnostic help!
