Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

I saw that a little earlier today. I think it looks hideous and it won't make any more power over the stock elbow, but it is different. Kudos to the guy for coming up with something new.

I dont think the idea was to outperform rather than replace the fragile stock elbow and to lose the air silencer. It actually looks to have more volume than the stocker. I'll ask the seller for pictures of the inside.

I think I might pick one of these up, my stock rubber one is cracking around the TB.

If it's proven to be less prone to heat soak then it's worth it to me.

I got the pics for the most part they look good , but I did see what you are talking about on the inside but I really doubt that will effect any air flow , look at the inside of the stock elbow ,its better than the stock one, and if you are a perfectionst you could always sand it as smooth as you like it ( thats what is good about fiberglass) I think it problably looks worse than it is , after seeing the pics I think that I will try one ( I like the idea that it is larger inside than stock or vortech ,trickflow) I'll post when I get one on the fitment and such

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

It may effect nothing but isnt it always better to have a smooth flow coming in regardless?
