Quick question for Mallory 685 owners.

I had a quick question for you guys, for the Start retard value, which is Mode 4, what timing value are you guys running? I ask because I read in a previous thread that someone had it adjusted to high and it prevented the car from starting. What is a safe value to keep it at before I attempt to fire this thing up in a day or so. Thanks for any help offered.

I need to know this too... I just installed mine and it's harder to start... I have it set at 6.5 It started better at this value than at the default one, but still not better than without the box.

When I had the box I used the default value which I think think was 0.1, never had a problem with starting her up.

Actually, I finished installing the box a couple weeks ago. I just left the box at the default value, which as mentioned above is like 0.1 Anyways, the car fires right up with no hesistation like it normally does.
