Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

I can't see the MAF sensor and the IAT sensor attached to the albow neither....that makes me wonder is a fake....However the design is similar to the K&N long tube elbow.......
I could be wrong...

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

what do you mean ? mass air looks like it should mount up ok , and the AIT sensor( if you choose to put it in the stock location) looks like you can drill a small hole and put a grommet there.

Ya the seller commented that you can drill the fiberglass for the IAT but relocating it is easy too. The same seller has a reproduction of what looks like the Moroso CAI with a bigger inlet for the filter. They look like decent pieces..... might be worth checking out.

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

Are you sure it will line up correctly with the MAF attached?

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

it looked like there was a pic of it on a car ,but it was a speed density car with no maf, but if it fit's that one it should line up just like a maf car would.

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

Not too terribly expensive and it does look like it will work well with a MAF.

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

I understand it suppose to withstand heat soak alot better than stock but I wonder how much. I wish I could see some real world testing done.

Re: Fiberglass intake elbow?

Seller told me he only has 2 of these for sale right now and will have 3 more next week. He has plans to mass produce them. It looks like it will work with a MAF for sure.
