Re: a few ?s before JET HOT LT install

yeah im doing jet hots right now too man, and yep thats my z, i got my drivers side in but im bout to jack the motor on saturday to put the pass side in and those new mounts. i wanted to save some $$$ too but ive been about a week w/o my z now b/c of all the probs ive ran into. im prolly going to have to have some custom exhaust work done on that jet hot y pipe b/c of my hooker exhaust plus my elec cutout. keep in touch.

You might want to have some kind of anti-depressant handy, and some band-aids.

just finished install last night, im going to take my z to a good exhaust shop and have them fit my jet hot y pipe and cut that curvy part off my I pipe and weld my cutout on. it sounds wicked with open headers though

yeah , i have the right y pipe , but i test fitted it and even with the flat part in it , it still bumps that tranny crossbrace, so i might have the shop notch it, we had family over yesterday and my father started my car up for my cousin who is just turning 16 and he about had a heart attack b/c it was smoking from the oil/grease on the headers he thought he set it on fire. it was a riot he was ready to hose it down with the garden hose
