I have a friend, his fans won't turn on. the car will continue to heat up and eventually overheat and the fans will never kick on.
The fans can be wired to the battery and they work that way.
The fog light relay is functional. It's been switched with the fan relay and the fans still don't turn on.
The fuses are good.
The air pump fuse and relay is good.
Bridging pins 5 and 6 on the ALDL doesn't turn the fans on either.
There are no DTC codes for the fans.

I'm guessing the water pump temp sensor is ok and it's a wiring issue since the fans don't come on when the pins are jumped on the ALDL, is this correct?

This is on a 96 Z28.
