famous high idle

Runs great, just idles high.

just replaced the intake and drivers side header gasket. Idles at like 2000k, but if you blip the throttle it will idle down to like 1000k. Thinking it is the injector O-rings leaking vacuum, but I did also remove the TB and clean the IACs head and reinstall. No SES light.

Going to to the IAC relearn tonight, was fine before the repairs

yea but most of the time whenever you pull off the IAC especially after a while(if you have never changed it) it could get out of whack depending on how old it is. im sure you will need a new one. their only 30 bucks. at least go with that so its not a major fix and major price to fix.

Did you plug the brake booster vac line back in?
(And all of the other vac lines to the TB?)

well with the suggestion of an IAC motor, I did the cardinal sin...took the IAC off and pulled gently on the head out alittle. Reinstalled it and went through the relearn.

All is well
