No. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. I suggested you might have problems with the grounds for the PCM and engine. The PCM seldom is the problem. You also have the other code problems you need to sort out. Those point to electrical problems as well.

I think I would clear the codes, start over and see what comes back. So much work has been done, who knows when these things occurred or what is still active?

Alrighty.

Ill pull the pcm fuse today and let it sit out then put it back in and see what I get.

Ill add more grounds if I need to and make sure everything is up to par again and hopefully the SES light wont return

Figured out I dont have money to get a different car. I dont think things through very well.

Ok since then., I pulled the engine harness and found a few things, Red alternator wiring, frayed at the connector, connector fell off upon looking over the harness.

All other connections fine.. I do have 3 pink wires soldered in a connection into 1 wire for the injectors? Im guessing its right.

Im going to replace the MAP connector, Alternator and VSS connectors and throw it back on and see what it does. Also Going to add another PCM ground.. But where? Because obviously grounding it on the Passenger fenderwell isnt working.

Thanks

-Mark

The pink wires are just +12V, constant. #1/4/6/7 should be supplied by a single pink wire from fuse #10 and #2/3/5/8 by a single wire from fuse #9. Are you saying someone repaired or altered the factory wiring?

It was repaired, but by a shop. Doesnt seem to be altered in any way.

The shop did add a ground, they tapped into the tan / white wire ( coil grnd wires ) and soldered a wire to that then grounded it with the ABS wires? It was on the passenger side fenderwell?

Is that a legitament repair? Or should I take that ground out?

I think the reason why my volt gauge was jumping around was because of the red wire.

Or am I wrong? Replacing the connectors when I get them and putting the harness back in.
