Also I don't think you can call a car cam only if it has headers etc. If it's cam only, to me that means all you have is a cam and everything else is totally stock.

 

I think he means "no head work" ... when he says a cam only car.

 

well i know what everyone means by "cam only" but I think the name is a little exaggerated when you think about it. If the LT1 is cam only it should only have a cam. If a car has head work of course it's not cam only. But for instance a stock 383 with a cam wouldn't be considered cam only because the bottom end is not a 350. So these high hp's arent really that impressive for cam only cars if they have more than a cam with no head work or lower end work. I think it's possible to be right up there with the rest of the records, maybe within about 5 hp or so.

I don't know, I haven't driven it in 2 months I changed the pinion seal a couple of weeks ago and I'm trying to find a place to get my inspection done so I don't get hammered with another ticket. I've gotten 5 tickets on my bike in the past month Hopefully I'll get it taken care of soon and we can line them up somewhere.

As for the tune... lol ... its NOT a mail order. My local tuner hooked me up... and to tell ya the truth... I know there are good mail order tunes out there, but you just can't beat the 1-on-1 with a wideband.

 

So I guess a "heads and cam" car would be just that....no bolt ons or anything?! Get real dude! Not many people do a cam without anything else.
