I don't use anything, this car was not tuned on a dyno. Wasn't even there when it was dyno'd.

Like I said on the other board, prove me wrong. Get some solid numbers from a REAL cam only LT1 (STD OR SAE) and holla back.

My car put down 355 SAE corrected cam only. I know its not 370, but I was also on STOCK rockers. No excuses, just stating facts.

Im well past that now (its got a stroker) but with some 1.6s it might have put down almost that much.

Nice job though.

You're the one making BS claims saying it holds the cam only record, not me, so until the SAE dyno chart is posted up there's no way to know. And if I remember right someone dyno'd 365RWHP SAE cam only, which would be higher than 371 STD.

I just called the dyno shop. SAE would be 384.8hp. Contact them yourself, if you want to call bs.

*THIS CAR HOLDS THE LT1 "CAM ONLY" (DYNO) RECORD!!!*

(edit: sorry if I offended you...)

I guess thats the only dyno in the world where the SAE #'s read higher than the STD #'s.

Eve though your resposes have been condescending, I'll try to help you understand. When you are close to sea level ad have good DA, yes..the correction CAN remove HP. Like i said, the correction factor is on the dyo sheet. Do the math.
370/1.04=SAE. Now, could you stop acting so rude?

Let me make this clear for you, there is no way SAE #'s will be higher than STD #'s. STD #'s aren't actual, they are corrected too, just to better conditions than SAE, so STD will ALWAYS read higher than SAE.

werd. on another note, how about taking the car to a different dyno and compare the two dyno's that way? alot of "records" are made by doing two of 'em back to back and having made sure they are both within a % of each other.

I thought that 370 was a little high but not unattainable in good conditions for a cam only. but to say that the SAE corrected numbers were 384 is obsurd.

It must be the pacesetter headers.

Re: DYNO results are in !! I'm happy :)

I do not understand why some people get thier panties in a wad over someone not posting SAE vs STD or vice versa. Honestly, who cares!!?? Not I. It's a matter of like 5-15hp.

And I could care less if you have a hard time believing what the car did on the dyno. It did what it did and that is all there is to it. I'm not here to prove anything.

Bottom line, its a strong running LT1 whether you like it or not.

Its strong running for 2 reasons.

1) The tuning ( Thanks Tim aka Total ReCal)
2) The installation (Thanks Redline Performance www.redline-fbody.com )

Nuff said.
