dyno numbers for stock 93 M6

Hi, I came across a 93 Z28 M6 pretty cheap about a month ago and a new dyno shop opened and where running a special 3 pulls for 50 dollars. This is only the second time I have been around a dyno and all I know is its a dynojet and some reason they had to weld an O2 bung on it. Anyhow the car has 160K on it someone put a single inlet and single outlet flowmaster and I just put a 160 stat other than that its stock. It put out 255.86 HP and 294.27 TQ. I know this is pretty normal for a stock M6 LT1 but with a 160K on it I thought it was pretty good. Also what is the air/fuel ratio supposed to be at it never got above around 12.5?

Probably want the A/F ratio closer to 12.8-13.0:1. But stock programming is very rich in PE mode (WOT).... usually targetting ~11.7:1. Leaning out the stock tune will usually net you 10-15HP.

How do I get it leaner closer to the 12.8 to 13.0:1?

You have to have a new chip burned, leaning it out using the PE tables. You can get mail-order custom chips.... one example is pcmforless.com

Tune would work. When I was stock my car was INCREDIBLY lean. I can't believe I didn't blow the motor. Probably why the previous motor was blown though...

Numbers are right on for a well maintained LT1. Must be running well. Congrats

Thanks guys, I am going to check into getting a chip burned. Yea car runs great, all I have been around is automatic LT1's and this one is by far the fastest.
