Dyno Graph for CC306
Thanks, Jon.
The graphs look similiar but you just have more power and torque, which leads me to believe it's my heads holding me back.
It's interesting that you made more power in open loop than closed loop. If you get some more tuning done you would have quite a powerful car there.
What are you running for injectors?

What valvesprings are you running, any chance it could be valve float?
Are you using a Hydra-rev kit?

I'm not using a hydra rev kit.
FWIW, on the 12.48 run the 1/8th ET was 8.06 and the MPH was 89.1 so it moves pretty good in the first 1/8. It is just down 4-5 MPH in the 1/4.

I plan on getting some datamaster recordings of my car this weekend and will see what is going on.
Jon,
I started plotting your data vs. my data in Excel and our graphs look VERY similar but yours is higher up the curve. When I get it all done I will email it too you.
Have you had your car to the track yet?

Unfortunately, no. I keep making plans to go but they always fall through. I've got a 6 month old daughter and a wife that works full time as a teacher, so it leaves very little time for other activities. I'm hoping to get out, a few times at least, before the National event.
By the way how do you like the spintech muffler. After I get the heads done this winter Gary Cook at PFE wants to put a 4" system on my car with a spintech. I don't think I have ever heard one before. I will have to catch up with you some time and check it out. I don't want my car to loud, the borla blocked of is pretty good rate now for me. It only gets loud when I want it to.

I really like the Spintech, it has a nice throaty sound to it that is aggressive but not too loud. When I get the car out this weekend, I will see if I can get a sound recording of it for you. I just have the 3" system.
306 cam
I have almost the identical setup to you accept I have an A4 trans. I feel that the dyno makes a difference but the true test is at the track. My dyno gave me 364rwhp at 6400 with 323 torque at 4400. Now this shows lower than the Hot Cam I had before but the car now runs consistent 12:0 @ 113mph where the best with the hot cam was 12:4 @110 mph.
