drive shaft vibration

ok i needs some help on this one. after my stock trans mount
broke i replaced it with a poly mount. i have had a drive line vibration ever since. the mount came with a pre load spacer and i removed it and that made a differance in the amount of vibration but it did not take it all away you will start to feel it around 65 -70. i know that f bodys had a problem with unblanced shats so i bought another one and had it balanced and new u joints put installed it was worse than the old drive shaft. ok here is the question after searching on line about this problem i ran across a messages board that stated that on 93-97's a poly mount can not be used because it puts the trany at the wrong angle. is this true have i wasted money for nothing?

i bought an energy suspension poly trans mount and it was garbage. created vibrations all the time. i took the poly one back and put a new stock one on instead and no vibrations what so ever.
when the car was idling, the shifter was getting a lot of vibrations b4 any tampering, but with the new OEM one, it barely moves now. i would just go back to a new stock one if i were you

I'd stick with the steel over weak aluminum. SLP has an HD steel one for $199. Looks like a pretty good.

Yup, it's very common for A4 owners to complain of vibration when going to a poly mount. Had mine for 2 days before I yanked it back out! Get the 1LE rubber one and it'll last longer than the stock one and transmit far less vibration. I've got an aluminum driveshaft, and that by itself will not solve the problem.
