dose a 93 lt1 have a mass air flow sensor???

dose a 93 lt1 have a mass air flow sensor???

my 93 camaro dosent seem to have a maf i didnt know if this was normal or not??? i seen a 95 camaro and noticed they had a maf

no it doesn't, the 93, and only the 93, used a speed density system

a search should yield alot of information on exactly what this is and how it works

I used Hypertech Thermomaster w/ 160 thermostat on my 93Z for 4 years on my stock motor before rebuild..... Jet, not that good....

Your money would be better spent ordering a bolt-on tune from a tuner. I use pcmforless myself and most require the 160* thermostat.

Even if you car is lightly modded, a custom tune (in your case, a chip) would be better than a "tune-in-a-can".

i went to that pcm for less and the beginning year for the pcm is a 1996 so mine wouldnt work being a 93. you guys think that hypertech chip from summit is a no go for the money?

OBDII started in 96. PCMs began in 94 (OBDI). 93s had ECMs.
