Does anyone know what code "16" means????
when just running with the simple "service engine soon" way.....
that's the code i meant to ask about earlier..not 12

DTC 16 = loss of low resolution pulse signal from the OptiSpark. If your engine is actually running, that is just a "stored" code. If it was an "active" code, the engine wouldn't be running, because the ECM shuts down the fuel system (pump and injectors) on loss of the low res signal.
It isn't unusual to see this as a "stored" code. Clear it (pull ECM BAT fuse for 30 seconds) and see how soon it comes back. If it is always there, could be signs of a problem with the Opti.
