Code 63 on 94Z

I took my Camaro to a shop and they told me that I have a code 63 and suggested that the pass. side O2 sensor is either bad or has issues with its wiring. Anyone familiar with this code number? Some helpful history:
I replaced the orig exh manifolds awhile back and swapped over the orig O2 sensors. I also have replaced the cat converter and y-pipe. I also have recently replaced the stock intake elbow. Car is a stock 94Z with 189K miles and a rebuilt transmission.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg

Like they said:
63 Bank 2 (right) Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit (open circuit)

Wiring or O2 sensor. If you were to swap the sensors from side to side, that might tell you something (if trouble follows the sensor or not).

Re: Code 63 on 94Z

Thanks Shoebox. I feel more confident now hearing it from two diff sources. I just bought the O2 sensor removal tool and am pricing O2 sensors (quoted $60 so far). Guy at NAPA said that there is only one brand available (Bosch, I think). He said if I look at the original it is probably from Bosch. Sound right? Any other sources, or anyone know where I could pay a reasonable price for a GM sensor?

Thanks,
Greg

No, you want to get some AC-Delco O2s. Bosch was not original equipment and don't seem to work well with the LT1 for some reason. Search the web. You can find some.

Did you check the wiring first?

Re: Code 63 on 94Z

Sorry, it took awhile to get this figgered out. It turned out that the metal clip that is attached to the wiring for the O2 sensor was not seated tightly. I simply slid the clip tightly onto the O2 sensor and the car runs like a champ again!

Thanks all!
