Ive had that one, it means your air pump is either dying(shorted) or dead.

after the car warms up the service Engine Led comes. Have friend with a code reader and comes up with code 29. Seem when you first crank the car everything looks fine. did you have the same symtom?

9 times out of 10, DTC 29 means the fuse for the AIR pump is blown. Check it. If blown, replace it. If it continues to blow, the AIR pump is rusting up and drawing too much current, or the wiring is screwed up. A temporary "fix" is to put a good fuse in the curcuit, then unplug the harness connector at the pump (this only avoids the SES light/code in OBD-I, 93-95).

Then check your pump. A leaking check valve... the black conical gadget on top of the exhaust manifolds.... will allow wet exhaust gasses to back up into the pump and corrode it. Just one possible cause.
