Brake questions

This weekend I am putting new pads and rotors all around on my '94 Z28. Do I need a special tool to compress the rear calipers? I thought I heard someone say that before, but I not sure. Also is there any other tricks or tips anyone has in doing this, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

yes sir there is, i use a vise grip tool, pretty fast, the front caliper you would use a 3/8 allen wrench to loosin it up, i bought one that adapts to your ratchet made it ten times faster those are my tips, hopefully they will help, good luck

Ram air camaro, Thanks for the reply. I'll be putting them on this coming weekend, so I guess I'll buy the tool during the week. I already have the allen head socket, so I'm set there.
