DTC 18 Injector circuit(s)

There is no separate crank sensor on a 1994.

You need to check the fuses and wiring to your injectors and check their resistance, if needed.

I would not consider swapping any injectors until I did some troubleshooting to see what the trouble really is.
Changing the injectors does not mean you have to to anything to the MAF. Some reprogramming for the different injectors would be good, though.

A link to the DTCs is right in my sig.

Yeah my CGS from Snap-on said the same thing. Remember that OBDI's don't have a crank sensor.

The first thing you want to do is reset it and see if it returns. Check the 2 fuses. Now pop the connectors off the injectors one at a time and then replace them until you find one that does not change the idle quality. If that happens measure the resistance of the injector to be sure it is not lower than 11.6 ohms and is also not open either. Then check the signal with a noid light.

If you need it, I can scan and email the injector circuit schematic to you cause I think the internet source of diagrams has dried up.

so is this code triggered by a failure on the electrical side of the injector , or will it set this code for a leaking injector also??

It is an electrical fault.
