Post Left brake light stops working after using right turn signal.

I've got this problem where every time I use my right turn signal, my left brake light stops working. I still have taillights, turn signal, hazards, etc, but when I hit the brakes it doesn't work.

If I hit the left signal, it "revives" the left brake, but when I hit the right turn signal, immediately afterward, I lose my left brakelight again.

Is there some module that controls this that may have gone bad? Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas?

Thanks.

TTT...anyone?

Would I get a better response to this in electronics? (they seemed more stereo-oriented there)

Question

No clue; however, maybe, if you mentioned what vehicle (year, make, model, options, ...) you are driving?????
