What did you torque down that made the crank pulley line up?

sounds like he used the relucter ring and hub to press it on...

That's what I was thinking, but how could you tell if it is in fact lined up with the timing cover on?

honestly guys, I have no clue what happened with this thing. i could NOT get it to line up without the chain on and cam gear torqued down. but i figured i would ignore the fact that it wasnt lining up and just put it together... and it magically lined up. It makes zero sense to me because it seriously was not before i did that.

I havent put the timing cover back on yet or clearanced anything. im trying to get this done with a couple of hours a day after work, its not going as fast as i had hoped.

as much progress as your making you will beat me, i have no spark for some reason but im glad its all comming togeather for ya! these motors are wierd sometimes!
