Torque pattern is identical to SBCs, working in a circle from the inside-out.

ARP head bolts can be reused.

Wanted to x2 this issue, I had a really hard time finding the steam pipe washers. Went to 3 parts stores before the NAPA guy finally just went through boxes of drain plug washers to find a match. Looking them up by the Camaro application got me nothing.

So go to the parts store you go to when you need the parts person to actually know something about cars...

And, also, my Fel-Pro complete head gasket set had every other seal, gasket, and o-ring, except these steam pipe washers.

Re: Changing my head gasket.. couple q's

What is the general opinion for using Fel-Pro head gasket #1074 when rebuilding the engine and replacing the head gaskets? I am somewhat new with the LT1 in the C4 Corvette's and want to make sure I use the best. Since there seem to be several different part number for these head gaskets, I am not clear on this but own a pair of 1074's and would like to use them if possible.

They are used often by many people.
