Question Heads?

I'm thinking of camming my 1995 z28 slp 6-speed. I know I need a new set of heads when I do that but I'm not sure which brand to get. What brand is considered a good brand? And that you would recommend for and LT1 with 83,000 miles on it?

Stock ported LE or AI
Big cubes or high dollar build AFR or Trick Flows 21° then send to LE or AI

500 rear wheel horsepowere is a huge deal. Forget the used cam route.

By a set of AFR heads..the big ones. Talk to them about a custom cam. Size some new injectors for the desired power

Get ready to spend a great deal of money on suspension and drive train to handle that power. Your rear is going to implode, sooner or later. The stock suspension will wheel hope all over the place. The unibody will flex.

Have you ever driven a car with 500 rwhp or do you just like the number? The jump from 400 rwhp to 500 rwhp is unbelievable...you have to be careful all the time..
