Kreinmc...The only thing I've got to say is, I've got you covered by a full second. You see a full second at the finish line, not MPH. So we're both trapping 112? I'm doing it with an A4, and the car had 4.10's in it with 26" tall tires at the time.

Good job Frank...Its nice to see guys going fast and still passing emissions...I second the "hooray for weenie cams" post. My LPE 383 runs 11.70s @ 118 N/A and used to always pass emissions when I lived in MD....and I'm using a 211/219 @.050 with .533/.560" lift...Same combo for 10 years nothing but oil changes and spark plugs...Sometimes smaller is better...

CC305 should pass in CA since the HOT Cam does and they are very similar.

hey frank, good times and glad it passed emissions (i know that, i actually went last week and it failed, replaced the air pump fuse, passed with flying colors)
i have a question for you though
why did you go with a 114 lsa?
i would think you could still pass emissions and possibly run better in the 1/4 with a 112
or are you planning on f/i sometime in the near future?

COMP ground the CC305 on a 114 for a few reasons...The 114 does help it pass emissions, and it pulls better manifold vacuum. A good friend of mine is running 11.9 with a 114 CC305 with a stock head '96 Z.
Besides...Nitrous likes 114

That's good to hear, because I am moving to Portland, OR, and they do emissions there. I do have this question...if the cats are "moved" will they still pass a visual? Reason I am asking is, I have no cat no with LTs, if I bolt the cat in the 3" pipe going back, will it be ok? As emissions goes it looks like I'll be ok, but I'm a little concerned about the visual.
