Car won't start after LTCC install. Help

IT cranks, a little slow, but it still cranks over.

the lights on the lltcc ICM do not come on at alll. Also my scanner will not connect to the PCM with the key in the on position.

I did something stupid and created an arc installing the alternator, and I think I might have blown a fuse. but I checked all the fuses pertaining to the pcm. none of them blew.
how can I find out if my PCM is getting power?

Re: Car won't start after LTCC install. Help

I just tried a few more things. with KOEO I checked for a voltage reference at the MAF sensor. got battery voltage. I checked the voltage of the pins going in to the ICM, I did get like 2 volts, not sure which pin it was because It's kinda hard to reach. This makes me think that part of the pcm must be functioning. which makes me think I blew it. what do you guys think?

Several things.

If your PCM won't talk, that's not a good sign. Be sure to check all the fuses in all the fuse boxes.....

The LTCC receives power for the interface from the Opti pigtail. The RED LED lights for 1 second when you switch the key on. If this is not happening, you need to check these connections. Make sure the opti pigtail connections are secure.

The Green LED will light up as soon as the LTCC has decoded the opti signals and the engine is turning.

The pink LTCC wires just provide power for the coils.

You did remove the stock coil and ignition module?

Finding +12V at the MAF doesn't indicate the PCM is OK. The MAF receives its power direct from the battery, via one of the fuses in the underhood box. Check the knock sensor, MAP and TPS for +5V reference. That comes from the PCM.

great, thats the advice I needed....

does anybody know what kind of voltages I should be getting KOEO, at the coil harness's

and Bob, when you say that it''s not good, what would be bad, fried PCM?

ok, The MAP, TPS, and Knock sensor arent getting the reference at KOEO.
So, once again it looks like it's the PCM. I'm currently hunting around on shoebox's site that will show me the path of the power circut to the pcm. Can anybody point me in a direction?

Bob, I bought one of you LTCC boxes in 2003. I didn't realize I could completely remove the Coil AND ICM. So after wiring the Pink (12v) and White ICM wire, I can just leave those plugs (coil/ICM) hanging in air and the LTCC will work fine?
