Didn't you have the old coil tested?

BTW, on Autozone's site you can look up parts and prices.

Do you know your fuel pressure yet? Rule it out before you go spending all this money.

Re: Car bogs, stumbles, misses, but only when hot.

I changed the plugs/wires again today along with fuel injectors and MSD6A box... all the plugs on the passenger side were BLACK(carbon) and the drivers side were nice and tan. The passenger side wires seemed to be a great shape too. ideas??
Well before I could fire it up I broke the schrader valve when putting my nitrous fuel line on... ugh! I'll let you know if it helped any when the jb weld cures, I hope it works.

im having this same problem, does it happen to you guys with like 1/4 of the troddle? Cuz if i WOT it it wont bogg as bad and takes off. I have a pretty beat up intake elbow, so im starting there, fuel pressure is fine. Next i guess ill try the wires. I put in new plugs prob 2-3 months ago. Just the dang wires are a PITA to do.

A missed up intake elbow, from what ive heard, is something that need to be replaced regardless. Supposedly it can cause pretty random problems?

Your passenger side 02 sensor is bad i had the same exact problem. Miss and everything, went to change the plugs one side was black the other side normal. Changed the 02 on the black side and BAM problem gone.

I've had similar problems in the past with my 93. My optispark has gone out twice and both times it did what you are explaining. Drove fine for about 20 minutes or so, or until warmed up then started missing and cutting out. New opti fixed it both times. I have also had the ignition module go out twice as well and I can tell you both times the car ran fine then backfired and died and never restarted. Replaced the module and fired right up with no problems.

i had the same problem. you should def. check your fuel pressure because my car was misfiring and was running like it had dead cylinders in it and it turned out to be that my fuel pressure regulator went. after that fix and new wires my car is now once again running like a champ . Def. check out your fuel pressure, and hope you dont have the same problem i had.

No it wont throw a code. If fuel pressure was a problem then all the plugs would look the same. The side with all the black plugs is getting a bad reading from the 02 causing it to dump fuel and foul the plugs. If you dont feel like wasting money, clean the plugs and switch the 02's. Left one to right and right to left. Ill bet that the other side ends up fouled.
