when i had the nittos on, i couldn't do more than a slight shirp in the 1-2 shift with a mcleod single disk and 3.73's. on bfg g-forces, however, i could get a slight spin going into 2nd and kick the back end a tad. hell, my buddy had a dodge neon that he could chirp the 1-2 shift on with his new clutch. this was a stock motored neon too.

 

well with front wheel drive its a much different story, hell my 198,xxx mile 1991 honda accord f22 can lay rubber on the 1st to 2nd and chirp third. True story.

Some F-Bods had the gear selector that won't let you get into 1st manually. So I just cut the rubber stop of the shifter so I could shift into 1st.

 

I got to thinkin about this topic on my way home because when I was passing a Semi. The Formula grabbed 3rd good enough to buck to the side. I was thinking that a lot of you guys more than likely don't have any problem what so ever. Except for one little thing. Torque Management.

My '93 does not have it. I know it can be a real pain to have that feature. I'm sure you could get it tuned out.

 

I was driving home one day in my new Formy [2.73 gears with automatic] and forgot I had traction control on. I floored it going up a hill and chirped 2ndgear, it also activated traction control. But then again, it does still have the stock Goodyear Eagle-RSA tires on it

 

My A4 Goes sideways when it hits 2nd, and even chirps third....
